Firestop Technician

Location: Lynnwood Wa

Department: Field Team

Pay: $50K- $82K per year

Primary Purpose:

We are looking for a motivated Firestop Technician to join our company. As our technician, you will be responsible for the installation of firestop materials & other barrier systems. Technicians will typically work on one site for the entire day. Each day will be a little bit different, as our company provides a variety of services. 

To be successful in this role, you will need to be organized, efficient, and have practical problem-solving skills. 

 

Responsibilities: (This list may not include all the duties assigned)

• Install caulking & sealants

• Cleaning your equipment

• Planning out your day for success with your teammates

• Tracking work for performance pay

Basic Position Requirements:

Abilities:

• Excellent work ethic

• Physically able to move items weighing 75 lbs or higher.

• Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.

• Possess interpersonal skills to relate to customers and solve issues.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition.

• Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable and Self Motivated

Knowledge:

• No experience needed - just a hunger to learn

• Knowledge of hand tools, mechanical tools, but not required.

• GED, High School Diploma, or suitable equivalent (If you dropped out and can give me a good reason I'm good with that)

Training Required:

• 60 day training period - tests to follow

• Ongoing development over the next 3-5 years to become a master of the trade & skills

• Compensation follows skills & effort - no timelines...its up to you!

Working Conditions

• The job environment is fast paced and results oriented.

• Be able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license.

• Must pass Drug test, Background check and Motor Vehicle check.

• We provide it all. Mostly hand tools.
